Although it is preferred, you are not required to be home for your cleaning. You can let us in an then leave to run errands, or you can leave a key for us and we'll lock up after ourselves. Be sure to leave directions in your booking notes on how we can enter the home and lock up.
We bring our own cleaning supplies but please let us know if you have any special requests and we would be happy to accommodate you if possible. Alternatively, we can use green products if you would prefer. Please let us know if you would prefer green cleaning services so we can plan for this.
If something is not done satisfactory- we'll fix it. Please let us know immediately following your cleaning if something is not right and we’ll send a team out to make it right (within 72 hours) and do a FREE re-clean.
Maid For Homes is licensed, registered, insured, and bonded for residential and commercial cleaning services in the State of Ohio.
All of our staff go through a rigorous hiring and training process. All of our cleaners are background checked, vetted, and go through a series of test cleans before they enter your home.
Our goal is to make sure you have a 100% excellent experience every time by delivering stellar cleaning services. You can do your part to help with having an awesome experience by:
- Making sure you booked the right service for your needs. Our maid staff will go above and beyond for every cleaning but we cannot go outside of the scope of service booked. If you don't book the right service this could cause you to incur further fees or we won't be able to meet your expectations if you did not select the correct estimated time for service.
- Declutter our home before service. Remove and pick up large piles of clothes, papers, trash, etc. Unless organization services are booked our packages only include light tidying of personal items
Deep cleaning provides a more thorough clean and is highly recommended for homes which haven’t been professionally cleaned in the past 30 days. The checklist includes everything necessary to bring your home up to a standard of cleanliness which can then be maintained easily. Baseboards, door frames, light switches, a deep scrub of the kitchen and bathrooms, and more are included. See our deep cleaning checklist here Cleaning Checklist. For homes that are above the level of a standard clean upon arrival to your home, a heavy duty deep cleaning fee of $75 will be applied to your booking.
We don't offer the following services:
- Carpet/Upholstery steam cleaning
- Wiping bulbs and glass fixtures
- Cleaning TVs and computer monitor
- Moving or lifting anything over 25 lbs
- Stepping higher than 2 steps on a ladder
- Clean Walls
- Clean Bodily Fluids
- Unfinished Areas
- Animal Feces removal
- Large amount of dishes

- Grout Cleaning
- Carpet/Upholstery Steam Cleaning
Hourly Cleans last for the duration of the time booked. If you'd like to add more time to your booking you are welcome to as long as you notify us in advance and we have the availability to accommodate your request. For all other flat rate packages we do not guarantee a minimum or maximum time of cleaning and can only provide an estimate. If your home has not been cleaned recently or well maintained this can add to the length of time of your cleaning.
We do our best to assign the same team to you for every cleaning based on availability. If at any time your cleaning team changes you will be notified in advance.

Log into your account and update your credit card in your upcoming booking. You can also give us a call and we will update your card for you.

Trust & Safety
Of course! All of our cleaners must pass a full criminal background check before joining the Maid For Homes team. They are fluent in English and have proper work authorization. In addition, all of our maids must perform a series of “test” cleans before they are fully hired. We work hard make sure that only the best cleaners show up to your home.
Please inform us if you have pets so we can assure your cleaning team does not have any allergies to pet hair or dander. We reserve the right to apply a $10 pet fee to your booking if there is excessive pet hair in the home.
Your personal information is safe with us. We don't store any of your personal or financial information you provide to pay for your service.
We do not charge your card until after your cleaning is complete. We use your booking to hold your spot on our schedule. A hold will be placed on your card 24 hours before service.
We price based on the number of bedrooms and bathrooms in the home and the square footage of the home. Select the number and the price is shown instantly on our booking form.
Maid For Homes does not provide refunds. If something is not done satisfactory, please let us know immediately following your cleaning and we’ll send a team out to make it right (within 72 hours) and do a FREE re-clean.
Maid For Homes reserves the right to assess a 25% cancellation fee if a booking is cancelled after 5pm the day before your service. When you book a cleaning we hold a time on our schedule for you and unable to fill the vacant timeslot. Please be sure to provide entry instructions if you will not be home. We reserve the right to charge our standard cancellation fee for all no- shows and lock-outs.
