A few things You Should Know to Have a Great Cleaning Experience!
- Cleaning Supplies: We bring all the cleaning supplies
- Arrival Window: All booking slots please allow a 2-hour arrival window. For example if you choose 10:00AM – 12:00PM, that is the 2 hour arrival window in which we may arrive. If under the rare circumstance we are running late our crew will call or text you.
- Cleaning Time: The first cleaning is quoted based on a normal home condition. If your home requires special attention we will either need to extend our time and add a heavy duty deep cleaning fee, charge you at our hourly rate, or prioritize our cleaning for what areas we can clean during the service.
- Late Cancellations: For all cleanings a 25% fee will be charged if our technicians are unable to access the home or there is a cancellation after 5pm the day before your service. For all one time cleanings a $50 cancellation fee will be charged if the technicians are unable to access the home or if there is a cancellation after 5pm the day before your service. We reserve the right to refuse cleaning of your home if we encounter anything that could cause danger to our technicians. This could include but is not limited to: mold, hoarding, abnormal buildup, etc.
- You must report any problems within 24 hours in order to take advantage of our 100% Maid For Homes Quality Clean Guarantee.
Terms of Use
1. Cancellation Fee
Maid For Homes reserves the right to assess a 25 % cancellation fee if a clean is cancelled after 5pm the day before your service. We reserve a time specially for you and are often unable to fill the vacant timeslot. Please be sure to provide entry instructions if you will not be home. We reserve the right to charge our standard cancellation fee for all no shows and lockouts.
2. Cleaning Supplies / Equipment
Maid For Homes provides products and equipment required for cleaning your home. Your property must have running water and working electric outlets for service. We reserve the right to charge our standard cancellation fee of 25% if we are not provided with running water or electricity. If you have products you’d like our cleaners to use please leave them out and include this request in your booking notes. Please note we are not responsible for ANY damage caused by cleaning products provided by the customer.
3. Cleaning Conditions
Please note running water and electricity are required in order to service your home. For all cleanings a 25% fee will be charged if our technicians are unable to access the home or there is a cancellation after 5pm the day before your service.
4. Confirmation
Booking a service online doesn’t guarantee you a spot for that date/time. Your booking is not confirmed until you have received a confirmation email.
5. Price & Time Adjustments
Maid For Homes offers flat rate pricing. Please note that if the pricing quote does no estimate the price of your cleaning and your home is in far worse condition that estimated we reserve the right to either adjust the price or refuse the service. You will be notified by our our management if they do not have time to complete the cleaning in the time allotted. You will have the option to either have them prioritize the areas you would like or to extend the cleaning at an agreed upon rate.
6. Breakage
We make every effort not to break or damages any items at your home. In case our cleaning staff accidentally damages an item in your home please notify us at 614-412-3979 within 24 hours to rectify the matter.
7. Photos
We respect your right to privacy. Occassionally our cleaners will take before and after pictures of their cleanings to show proof of performance and for management feedback. When booking your services with Maid For Homes, you consent to our use of before and after pictures of areas we have cleaned in your home or office in advertisements on places such as our website, Facebook, Instagram, Yelp, Google, etc.
8. Direct Hiring of Our Cleaning Staff
All cleaners who enter your home are direct staff of Maid For Homes. We permit you from soliciting side work or hiring your cleaner outside of our booking service.
9. Staff Safety
Our staff safety is our number one priority. If at any moment during service our staff is unsafe they will be removed from your property and our cancellation fee will be charged.
10. Pets
We love pets! For the safety of our staff and your pet please we require all animals to be secured during service. If you have a pet please make sure to select this when booking so we do not assign a cleaning team for your home that is allergic.
11. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse service or leave upon arrival if the property is a severe condition or our staff feels unsafe or threatened in any way. Our standard cancellation fee of 25% of the booking will be assessed if serviced is refused.
12. Clutter
Please declutter your home BEFORE service. Our services only include light tidying unless our hourly services are booked. We are unable to organize and declutter your home unless you book our hourly services or home organization add on when booking. Laundry can also be washed, dried, and folded at an additional fee.
13. Dishes
Please make every effort to wash and put away your dishes before service. Hand washing of dishes is not included in your service and can be added to your booking for an additional fee. As a courtesy, our cleaning staff will load 1 sinkful of dishes in the dishwasher.
14. Large and Heavy items
For safety concerns our cleaning staff cannot move or lift items larger than 25lbs. If you would like us to clean or wipe behind and under furniture please move it for us.
